Casey and Matthew's Bakery

We decided to make a happy cake for Grandma Geri and Auntie Julie. Who knew baking could be so much fun? Mom keeps saying that the best part of making a happy cake is licking the batter off the spatula, but we didn't get that far today. Maybe Grandma will let us help her make our happy cakes next week.

Have a great birthday! We miss you and can't wait to see you next week. Lots of love to you from Las Vegas.

Cheese Sandwich

It has been kind of a slow news week around here, but we have discovered that we LOVE cheese sandwiches! We heard Nolan was a big fan so we decided to give them a chance and they are pretty tasty.

It is Grandma G and Auntie Julie's birthdays this week so we are plotting an exciting post. Stay tuned!

Busy, Busy, Busy

How are you all doing? It has been quite some time since we have posted any messages or pictures. We hope you like our new pics and can appreciate how busy we have been. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with our buddy, Charlie. He comes over and plays after his mom and our mom go for a jog. Here is a little secret...our moms seem to spend most of their run talking about the coffee they are going to drink once they pass the Starbucks. Once they get their coffee, the running is over and all they do is chit chat and tell us to goto sleep in the stroller.

As you can see, we have learned to work together to find some serious trouble. We LOVE the remote...all those buttons and lights! If Casey pushes the truck against the end table and acts as a lookout, Matthew can try to climb up and snag it before Mom catches us. This times we weren't so lucky and Mom busted us. Actually, it was kind of a relief because we know how to climb up, but we have a little trouble on the descent.

We were so busy, in fact, that we put two different shoes on our feet! We aren't alone...apparently, Auntie Mayme wore one black shoe and one brown shoe to work this week and when Baba and Halmunee were here, Baba took one of Dad's golf shoes so when Dad went to play golf he had 2 right shoes...one of his and one of Baba's. Crazy!

Happy Birthday Uncle Johnny and Uncle Tommy

We are wishing a very happy belated birthday to our Uncle Johnny in New York City. Go Mets! And, happy early birthday to Uncle Tommy in Washington D.C. Go Irish! We heard it was time to celebrate your birthdays so we started hamming it up for the camera before we could get cleaned up after our snack...hence, the messy faces.

We had a good weekend and we hope you did, too! There has been lots of sunshine here and we made a trip to the park to play on the slides and swings. We like to share a baby swing because then we don't slide all over the place. We haven't tried the monkey bars yet, but they are very tempting. Maybe next week.

Howdy

It has been so long since we have made an entry that you probably forgot what we look like. We have been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! Our most exciting news is that we are moving to Billings, Montana in August. After lots of talking, searching, interviewing, more talking and praying Dad and Mom have decided that Billings will be a great place for all of us. Lots of open spaces, big sky, good people and Dad will be working at only ONE hospital! We will miss our friends in Vegas, but we are excited about our new start in Montana.

Our other exciting news is that Halmunee and Baba came to visit us last week. Evey time Baba comes the weather is terrible. It snowed here twice while he and Dad were golfing. Then when he goes home the weather is great. 70's and sunny. We don't quite understand how he can change the weather, but it snowed the last time he came here, too. We are a little worried about the weather when he comes in April...snow in Las Vegas in April? We had lots of fun in spite of the yucky weather and we can't wait to see them in a few weeks!

We are now confined to one area of the house. Apparently, it is "unsafe" for us to roam around the house at will. As you can see from the picture Mom caught us on our last escape attempt. Maybe we will try to dig a tunnel next......
