Happy Birthday Nolan!

Dear Nolan-

When the twins heard it was your birthday Casey got so excited that he crawled out of his pants and Matthew started doing some Mission Impossible poses! One year old today...where does the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday your dad was calling to tell us that "It is a boy!" We hear that you are walking, too! Any skiing yet? (Maybe on your second birthday you can give your Auntie Mary a ski lesson.) Do you get to have some cake and ice cream tonight? Yummy!

We were so happy to see your dad this weekend...Casey loved the rides on his shoulders (sorry for all the hair pulling) and Matty loved taking his nap snuggled into him. We missed you and your mom, but we hope that you are both feeling better. Thanks for sharing him. He was a big help!

Have a great birthday big guy! Enjoy the cake and ice cream...Uncle Brian says that just because you are only one doesn't mean that you only get one piece of cake so don't be shy to ask for seconds!

Hi Boys,
You two sure get excited for your relatives' birthdays! 2 more months and you will be celebrating your big day!
It is very cold in MN - below 0 and we had a snowy start to the day.
Enjoy the Las Vegas Sunshine!
Love,
Auntie Mayme

Casey and Matthew,

Thanks for the great message, pictures and birthday gift. I am looking forward to being read my new books and playing w/ my new fun toys.

I had a great birthday. I grabbed at frosting but ended up eating some happy cake and bummed a little white cake from my mom. There were plenty of cakes and brownies to choose from. I mainly just enjoyed walking around while smiling at my family and friends. As you'll soon discover, turning 1 has its advantages.

Love,
Nolan

Hi guys! It sure looks like you're having a good time in Las Vegas. Its cold here in DC, I'm looking forward to visiting you in March. I bet we'll be able to play outside. Matthew, maybe you can teach me those Mission Impossible moves. Also, I'd like to challenge you two to a wrestling match. As you know, I'm known far and wide as El Cucuoy (the Boogeyman), in lucha libre. I should be able to roll over by then! Have a great day! Love, Benny
