Corn Versus Pumpkin

We went to the pumpkin patch/corn maze with the local twins club and found the corn to be much more exciting than the pumpkins. What is all the fuss about the pumpkins? You can wave the corn in the air, use it as a writing stick, a sword or a bat. A pumpkin just sits there and it is impossible for us to carry more than one pumpkin at a time. Dad helped us pick out some pumpkins, but we insisted on bringing the corn home, too.

Hi Casey and Matthew! Your orange vests matches the pumpkins perfectly. What are you going to be for Halloween this year? I hear Nolan has several costumes to choose from and has already been to a party!
Can't wait to see you...only two more months.
Love,
Auntie Mayme

Dear Casey and Matthew,
Years ago when your Dad was in the third grade Baba carved a jack-o-lantern for our neighborhood holloween carving contest. This pumpkin didn't get any award because the judges said,"It is too good!" We didn't know it should be done by kids. Josiah called Baba to get a pumpkin and make tri angle eyes, a tri angle nose and something mouth. I wish you guys are all around Baba when he carves a Jack-O-Lantern. It would have been a super Holloween Day. I also wish I were there to help you pick pumpkins and corn, too. Halmunee

Dear Casey and Matthew,
Josiah said it is a scribbly mouth. And tonight a pumpkin became a face with all those shapes. It also has hair like Alpha-Alpha sticking out on top of its head. Halmunee

Good morning boys! Glad to hear that you are picking out your pumpkins. I have mine on the porch right now, but we still have to carve it up. What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I'm going to be a dinosaur! Or, as mom says, Benasaurus Rex. :) Have a good day! Love, Benny
